Important remarks concerning CE labelling of windows
All declared values relate to standard conditions. Conditions deviating from these may produce different values.
The declared values for driving rain impermeability, air impermeability, resistance capabilities against wind load, load bearing capacity of safety equipment, operating strengths were calculated using maximum sizes or sizes and construction types as defined by standards. For multiple part elements the maximum warping is to be adhered to.
Thermal insulation values of windows are dependent on size and construction design. The declared values relate to – as defined in the standard – single sash windows in sizes of 1230 x 1480 mm. Conditions deviating from these may produce other values.
Georgian / feature bars in the space between the panes lead to a deterioration of thermal insulation.
Sound insulation values of windows are dependent on size and construction design. The declared values relate to – as defined in the standard – single sash windows in sizes of 1230 x 1480 mm. Conditions deviating from these may produce other values.
For specialised construction types such constructions with a floor threshold, slanting constructions and arched constructions driving rain impermeability is Class 6A and air permeability is Class 3.
For UPVC lift-and-slide doors the declared values relate to construction form “HSK-A” (1 sliding element and 1 fixed element) and size 3500 x 2200 mm.
